Édouard does not fit the stereotype of the virile man glorified in popular culture and constantly feels like an impostor, especially in the presence of his two childhood friends, Renaud and Xavier. During a retreat at the cottage, he realizes that, although they love each other unconditionally, they are no longer a good influence on one another. Caught up in their unhealthy desire to prove their masculinity to each other, their behaviours become dangerous. As the tension escalates, Édouard is faced with a difficult choice: whether to stay true to himself or succumb to the pressure from his friends.
