
After a dozen rejected job applications, the go-getter Bénédicte finally gets a job as Director of Tourism for Saint-Jean-du-Lac, a village that has known better days. Saddled with CharlesThomas, her slacker-employee, she tries her best to reinvigorate tourism. Running out of ideas (and a little high), they have a flash: make everyone believe that there is a sea monster in the lake.
In search of a mystery, tourists flock to Saint-Jean. This is the story of two municipal employees who make bad decisions. Lots of bad decisions. The greater their lies and scams become, the greater grows the legend of the monster.
