FUNDING FOR DRAMATIC SERIES EXTENDED 2009-2010!
The COGECO Program Development Fund encourages the development and the production of new Canadian drama by Canadian writers to be produced by independent Canadian producers, in English or French, or (preferably) in both languages.
The Development Program: |
- Loans for the Pre-development of dramatic television programming including television series, MOW’s and miniseries;
- Loans for the Development of dramatic television programming including television series, MOW’s, miniseries and multiplatform content;
- Loans for the Development of Theatrical Feature Film (corporate loans for companies with a slate of theatrical feature films in development).

The Production Program: |
- Equity investments for the production of MOWs, mini-series and pilot
- Equity inestments for the production of dramatic series.

ATTENTION:
FUNDING FOR DRAMATIC SERIES EXTENDED 2009-2010!
Exceptionally, the Cogeco Fund will continue in 2009-2010 to provide equity financing to producers for dramatic series.
All the regulations of the Production Program apply, in addition to the following specific conditions:
- Type of series: dramatic series of 60-minute episodes (except children’s programs which may be 30 minutes)
- Contribution: the amount of the Cogeco Fund investment for series will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
- Additional documents required: producers should provide a bible and 1 copy of final script for at least two episodes.
